The tallest of the Alliums! This giant Allium is a beautiful addition to the garden with its star-shaped lilac-purple flowers forming a large globe shaped cluster. Allium giganteum blooms in late spring to early summer, but can be left on the plant well into summer. A bulbous perennial attracting bee’s and butterflies. Plants die down in Summer and can multiply readily. Grows best in well draining soil in full sun. Also benefits being planted in a climate which gets frosts!
