Calamagrostis ‘Overdam’

Overdam' is a beautiful, compact tufted grass forming a clump of narrow, yellow to cream-striped leaves, with sprays of flowers. A very tough grass which can handle a range of conditions, is drought tolerant plant once established but has also performed well in clay soils. The airy purplish sprays of flowers are fantastic as a cut flower but also look lovely in the garden! Overdam should be cut back at the end of winter to allow for new growth and late spring flowering Grows to approx 1.2m tall.
