Pale Pink Spray Chrysanthemum
Pale Pink Spray Chrysanthemum
Hardy perennial
Lovely little Chrysanthemum which produces little double flower with pale petals, which appear peachy underneath but fade to pink as they age. Blooms cover the plant and continue until the first frost! Grows to approx 1m tall. Chrysanthemums are best planted in spring so they have time to develop strong roots before blooming in the fall. They need at least six hours of sunlight daily and prefer well-drained, rich soil. Keep the soil moist but not soggy. Pinch back the tips in early summer to encourage bushier growth and more blooms. Remove faded flowers to extend the blooming season. For hardy varieties, add mulch in late fall to protect the roots through winter.
