Spring Season- Hand Tied Bouquet Saturday 3rd October 2026

NZ$250.00

Spring Hand-Tied Bouquet Workshop

Saturday 3rd October | 10:00am – 1:00pm
1030 West Coast Road, Warkworth

There is something incredibly special about spring. The flower fields are overflowing with blooms, fresh foliage, and an abundance of colour, making it one of the most inspiring times of year to work with flowers.

We'll begin the morning with a guided walk through our three flower fields, where I'll share how we grow our flowers using regenerative, sustainable practices and the seasonal rhythms that shape our farm.

From there, we'll head back to our barn, where it will be overflowing with freshly harvested flowers from our own fields alongside carefully selected blooms from local growers. Together we'll explore the beauty and variety that spring has to offer.

I'll start with a demonstration on creating a relaxed, spiral hand-tied bouquet using my natural, garden-inspired approach. You'll then have the opportunity to create your own bouquet, with plenty of guidance and encouragement throughout the morning.

As we work, we'll talk about designing with the seasons and embracing the unexpected. From herbs and flowering branches to grasses and delicate blooms, we'll explore how combining different textures and forms creates bouquets that feel natural, and full of movement.

All flowers and wrapping materials are provided, and you'll head home with your own spring bouquet to enjoy.

Once everyone has finished creating, we'll gather together for a relaxed morning tea and enjoy some time on the farm.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who loves flowers, whether you're a complete beginner or already have experience and would like to explore a more natural approach to floristry.

Our farm is located just 50 minutes north of Auckland and around 30 minutes from Matakana and the East Coast. Why not make a day or weekend of it and explore the beautiful beaches, vineyards, and local cafés the region has to offer!

I can't wait to welcome you to Hands in the Dirt and spend a beautiful spring morning creating with you.
