Spring Season- Large Vase Arrangement- Sunday 19th October 2025
Spring Season- Large Vase Arrangement
Sunday 19th October 2025 from 10:30am to 1:30pm
1030 West Coast Rd Warkworth 0981
Spring is the most beautiful season for flowers—filled with fresh growth, soft colours, and a wide variety of flowers coming into bloom. It’s the perfect time to create large-scale floral arrangements that celebrate the energy of the season. Large arrangements are fantastic for events, entrances or wherever you want large vases of flowers and foliage due to their size and beauty.
In this workshop, we’ll first tour the three flower fields showing you how and where we grow our flowers in a regenerative and sustainable way.
We will then head to our barn and focus on designing a large, foam-free vase arrangement. These pieces are striking in size and presence and rooted in a naturalistic, garden-inspired style.
Our arrangements are constructed using sustainable mechanics such as chicken wire and floral frogs—no floral foam. Flowers will be sourced directly from our fields and foraged locally, reflecting what’s in season and growing abundantly at this time of year. Each arrangement will be built with layers of structure and movement, capturing the wild, fresh atmosphere of spring.
I will begin with a demonstration, sharing my approach to designing naturalistic vase arrangements. All materials—including vases, wire, and frogs—will be provided for you to use during the session and to take home afterwards.
You’ll be guided step-by-step in layering seasonal foliage and blooms to create structure, movement, and a beautifully balanced composition. From herbs to flowers to grasses, nothing is off limits and all are meant to expand your horizons on what can be used when creating arrangements. Following the demo, you’ll have the freedom to craft your own unique arrangement, with me on hand to answer questions and offer support throughout.
Once arrangements are complete, we’ll share a relaxed light lunch together.
This workshop is suitable for anyone who loves flowers! From beginners to those wanting to expand their creativity.
Workshop is limited to 10 people.
Our farm is situated 50 minutes north of Auckland central and only 30 minutes from Matakana and the East Coast.
I look forward to seeing you here,
