Lilium martagon
A timeless woodland lily, admired for its elegant, nodding flowers with distinctive recurved petals. Flowering in early to midsummer, each tall stem carries numerous blooms in shades of dusky pink to rich mauve, often delicately speckled. Slow to establish but incredibly long-lived, Martagon lilies reward patience and will naturalise over time, bringing beauty and character to lightly shaded gardens year after year.
