Spring Season- Naturalistic Centrepiece Arrangement- Sunday 8th November 2026
Spring Centrepiece Workshop
Sunday 18th October | 10:30am – 1:30pm
1030 West Coast Road, Warkworth
Celebrate the arrival of spring by creating a natural, seasonal centrepiece using flowers freshly picked from our farm.
Our flower barn will be overflowing with beautiful spring blooms, foliage, grasses, herbs, and textural elements, all harvested from our fields and complemented by flowers from a handful of local growers. Together we'll create an arrangement that captures the softness and abundance of the season.
The morning begins with a guided walk through our flower fields, where I'll share how we grow our flowers using regenerative, sustainable practices and the seasonal rhythms that shape our farm.
After the tour, we'll head back to the barn where I'll demonstrate my naturalistic approach to designing a centrepiece. We'll be working with sustainable floristry mechanics, including chicken wire and floral frogs. Every arrangement is built with movement, texture, and balance in mind, creating something that feels fresh, garden-inspired, and uniquely your own.
You'll then create your own arrangement with plenty of guidance along the way. We'll explore how to layer foliage, flowers, herbs, grasses, and unexpected elements to create depth and interest. There are no strict rules—just an opportunity to experiment, learn, and discover new ways of working with seasonal flowers.
Centrepieces are one of my favourite arrangements to create. They are incredibly versatile, whether for a dining table, wedding, special event, or simply to enjoy at home. As you build your arrangement, you'll be encouraged to slowly rotate it, viewing it from every angle to create a composition that looks beautiful from all sides.
All flowers, foliage, vessels, chicken wire, and floral frogs are included, and everything you create will come home with you.
Once everyone has finished, we'll sit down together to enjoy a relaxed light lunch on the farm.
This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves flowers—whether you're picking up the secateurs for the first time or looking to build on your existing skills.
Our flower farm is located just 50 minutes north of Auckland and around 30 minutes from Matakana and the East Coast.
Places are limited to 10 guests to ensure an intimate, relaxed experience, so early bookings are recommended.
I can't wait to welcome you to the farm and spend a beautiful spring morning creating together.
